Launch of the RPLDM’s Official Site

Deux-Montagnes, July 7, 2016 – Today, the Régie de police du Lac des Deux-Montagnes (Police Board) is officially launching its new bilingual website at www.rpldm.ca.

This Internet platform was developed in keeping with the image of the Lac des Deux-Montagnes Police Board, formerly known at the Deux-Montagnes Regional Police Department. Today, more than ever, this new era positions relations with citizens at the heart of the Board’s activities. The home page, architecture and contents of this computer support attest to the values of closer community relations and increased police visibility fostered by the Police Board, which seeks to instil a feeling of security and trust in the population it serves. “It is with considerable pride that I invite you to visit our new website. Browsing through its different pages reveals positive interaction between the Board’s police officers and the public, at different organized activities. The horizontal menu’s five key facets — About us, Community Relations, Services to Citizens, News, and Contact us — will allow residents to regularly track the evolution of our partnership with socio-economic organizations, different institutions, and community groups, in an effort to keep the population informed and answer their questions,” stated Alain Simoneau, Director of the Lac des Deux-Montagnes Police Board. The collaboration with the towns of Deux-Montagnes and Sainte-Marthe-sur-le-Lac as well as the municipalities of Saint-Joseph-du-Lac and Pointe-Calumet has made it possible to implement this Internet portal. Moreover, Communications Studiogrif, an agency that specializes in branding and is headquartered in the region, has supported the Board in the design of the website, with sound advice and expertise.
