ABOUT US

In order to promote the safety of all road users during the back-to-school period, and particularly around school zones, the Régie de Police du Lac des Deux-Montagnes is running an awareness campaign that encourages courtesy, vigilance, and respect for safety rules.

Through the friendly character of Joe Latraverse, this campaign aims to:

  • remind motorists of the safety rules related to school zones and school buses;

  • raise awareness among parents and citizens about the behaviours to adopt in school zones;

  • ensure that the territory remains safe for everyone.
