This is a vehicle intended for the transport of a person that:<\/p>\n

  • Is equipped exclusively with one or more electric motors with a maximum combined power of 500 W<\/li>\n
  • Its propulsion must stop when the PMD reaches a maximum speed of 25 km\/h<\/li>\n
  • Is equipped with at least one wheel with an overall diameter of at least 190 mm<\/li>\n
  • Does not have a closed cabin made of rigid or flexible material, whether transparent or opaque<\/li>\n
  • Has a maximum weight of 36 kg, including the battery<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    The Lac des Deux-Montagnes Police Department serves a population of nearly 50,000 residents across the towns of Deux-Montagnes and Sainte-Marthe-sur-le-Lac, as well as the municipalities of Saint-Joseph-du-Lac and Pointe-Calumet. This area, bordered to the south by Lac des Deux Montagnes, features numerous bike paths, parks, marinas, and boat launches. Two stations on the Deux-Montagnes commuter train line provide access to downtown Montreal.
